Heat by: Mike Lupica

Introduction: The Introduction in this book is Michael and  his brother are going through some hard times with both of there parents have died. They are both living by them selfs so if anybody finds out that they are living with out a parent they will get child support and split them both up. Both of them are good in baseball, Michael is the best pitcher for his team. The reason why they are still living is when his dad was about to die he left a lot of money for them to live.

Rising action: The rising point in this story is when Mrs. C. there neighbor finds out that Michael and his brother are living with out no parent and Mrs. C. is going to adopt them.

Climax:  The Climax in this story is when Michael and his brothers parents die and they have to live by themselves without no parent.

Falling action: The Falling action of this book is when Michael and his brother confess that they have been living with out an adult the whole time.

Resolution: The resolution is when Michael and his brother go to the big leagues and play for famous teams.

1. Rammon the thief steals Mrs. C new purse that is filled with money. Everyone sees rammon running away from the cops to a kid named Michael sees him to and he starts catching up to the robber because the cops are out of shape and finally Michael tackles him and before rammon wakes up he is already in hang cuff's and Mrs. C gets her purse back.

2.The setting they are in is in the Bronx, New York in a hot summer day when all the kids are outside playing some baseball. The setting and the conflict don't really go together because they are talking about different stuff.

3. Yes the culture plays a part of it because cops are always fat and out of shape and Rammons family always steals stuff.
